DBTR - Sea area - (MAR_GPG)

represents portions of sea areas, adjacent to the sea coast line, whose acquisition is significant (e.g. due to the presence of defense works or other artefacts, islands or rocks, production plants, navigation equipment, etc. .). Islands, reefs and non-pile works 'pierce' the sea area

lineage	The primary source for acquiring the objects is the CTR5, original equipment and with expeditious updates, subject to checks to confirm its presence on the update sources Quikbird 2002-2003, Agea 2005-06, Agea 2007, Agea 2008 and Agea20011. The updating of the CTR5 contents takes place for all new objects and in all cases in which the object present in CTR5 is clearly recognizable on the most recent update source but is "out of tolerance" due to shape variation. Other alternative primary sources to CTR5 consist of vector layers or digital cartography, which meet the necessary requirements for the DBT, available at the municipal SIT.
