National potential of aquathermal energy: analysis and review of the possibilities

However, one of the options that has received limited attention in the heat transition to date is aquathermal energy. In this national study, CE Delft and Deltares have estimated the potential of the various variants of aquathermal energy. The variants that have been examined are thermal energy from surface water, waste water and drinking water: TEO, TEA and TED. Data is used in the heat transition atlas (WTA).
