Agricultural value of soils - Year 2018

Shapefile with the division of the regional territory into the following classes: - High agricultural value (score >90): includes soils characterized by good use capacity, suitable for all crops or with moderate agricultural limitations and/or the presence of profitable crops (arable land, orchards, vineyards, meadows and pastures - in particular those located in the typical production areas -, horticultural and horticultural crops, etc.). The class therefore includes soils with a high and very high productive value, particularly valuable from an agricultural point of view. - Moderate agricultural value (indicative score 65/70-90): this includes soils suitable for agriculture and intended for arable land or meadows and pastures, but with various cultivation limitations and sometimes subject to erosion and instability phenomena, in particular in mountainous areas. The class therefore includes soils with a lower productive value, on which, moreover, agro-silvo-pastoral activity often carries out important functions of environmental protection and landscape enhancement. - Low or no agricultural value (indicative score <65/70): includes natural areas not affected by agricultural activities (such as woods, chestnut groves, marsh and riverbed vegetation, bushes and all remaining natural areas in general ) and also marginal agricultural areas (such as floodplain areas, slopes with steep slopes and/or subject to risk of collapse) and those abandoned or in the process of being abandoned without a significant potential for recovery of the agricultural activity itself. - Anthropized areas (value 1000): in addition to built-up areas, urbanized areas include infrastructures, quarries, landfills, degraded areas and in general all areas subject to anthropic transformations of an extra-agricultural nature. -Water areas (2000 value): bodies of water, lakes. rivers. - Other non-soil areas (value 3000): glaciers, rocky outcrops, sterile areas and in general characterized by the absence of soil and/or vegetation.
