Nature - Vulnerable areas Ammonia and Livestock Farming Act (WAV)

The WAV (Ammonia and Livestock Farming Act) has defined vulnerable and very vulnerable areas. The Provincial Council has designated very vulnerable areas on the basis of the law. These are areas that are sensitive to acidification and/or eutrophication that are part of the provincial EHS. In a zone of 250 meters around the very vulnerable areas, restrictions apply to (intensive) livestock farms. Adopted by PS on July 1, 2009; Subsequently, there have been changes that were determined by PS on December 16, 2009 and February 16, 2011.
