Dangerousness

Intrinsic characteristic of the landslide phenomenon, the landslide hazard is determined by the magnitude (intensity of the phenomenon calculated on the basis of a combined matrix calculation between the speed and the geometric/material severity involved in the instability) and the probability of occurrence. The Hazard is divided into 4 classes (P1, P2, P3, P4) as required by current legislation. Where the excerpt plans for the hydrogeological structure are binding, each hazard class corresponds to a different urban constraint. Please refer to the PAI regulation for further information.
