"The data relating to the vocation of the wild rabbit finds its place in one of the sub-projects in which the fauna map is divided and more precisely in the "study relating to sedentary fauna". The regional fauna map, adopted in 2006, is the instrument for the drafting and periodic adjustments of the faunal-hunting planning, which, on the basis of an interdisciplinary study of the main agro-forestry, biological and geological characteristics of the regional territory, divides this into homogeneous areas and indicates, for each of them, the species typical features and the related faunal vocation."
