Digital orthophotos: Leaf-free digital orthophotos (DOP20 - all of Hamburg, flight period March/April 2021) were generated from the aerial photo data of the spring survey flight 2021. Mosaiced and georeferenced, color digital orthophotos (RGBI) with different resolutions (here: 20cm) and tile sizes are produced from the aerial photographs. Orthophotos are geometrically rectified images based on a digital terrain model that combine the appearance of an aerial photograph with the geometric properties of a map. Because they are also in digital form, they can be displayed at different scales and used like a map. Objects that are directly on the earth's surface are displayed in the correct position. Objects that protrude above the level of the earth's surface are sometimes not reproduced in the correct position due to the production process for digital orthophotos. Particularly suitable as a spatially exact, pictorial reference basis for the structure of geographic information systems and for linking with or as background information for spatially-related subject-specific data for specialist information systems and for spatial planning of all kinds. Areas of application are all task areas for which questions a spatial reference is required, including Forestry and agriculture, government, demographics, housing, land use, regional and route planning, road construction and management, facilities management, traffic navigation and fleet management, transportation, mining, hydrology and water management, ecology, environmental protection, military, geology and geodesy, but also culture, recreation and leisure as well as communication. RGB (Red Green Blue): The band combination of red, green, and blue emulates human color perception. Healthy vegetation is shown in green, urban areas are shown in white / gray and water areas are shown in blue, depending on the turbidity. CIR (Color Infrared): The band combination of near infrared, red and green highlights vegetation. Due to the chlorophyll content of the plants, this reflects particularly strongly in the near infrared range and is displayed reddish. Urban areas appear cyan-blue / gray and water areas dark blue.
