BDTRE - Channel (CHANNEL)

It represents the artificial watercourse, or one made with the insertion of an artifact in natural or artificial materials, built for the purpose of supply, irrigation, navigation, reclamation, etc. It belongs to the "Hydrographic network" theme of the BDTRE (Territorial Reference Data Base of Bodies), represented by the ideal line of flow of running waters, whether they are natural or artificial watercourses or infrastructures for the transport of water (i.e. pipelines, forced and not). The data can be used individually through the use of the WFS service relating to the corresponding priority layer through the online resource indicated on the parent metadata (BDTRE - Reference Territorial Data Base of Entities).
