It belongs to the topic "Place names and house numbers" of the BDTRE (Territorial Reference Database of Institutions) which defines the organization of the municipal street directory, with its toponymy. It defines an address. It has no spatial component. It is always correlated to external access, which can be direct or indirect. A street number is defined by an alphanumeric string (number and possible subordinate) which is unique within either a municipal road toponym or an address area. Each "toponym road", aggregate of one or more "road elements", contains from 0 to N "house numbers" on the right side and from 0 to N "house numbers" on the left side. The arrangement of house numbers may or may not be ordered. For easier use, the data is supplied already related to the ACC_PC (point geometry) and TP_STR (street name, locality) classes. The data can be used individually through the use of the relative WFS service to the corresponding priority layer through the on-line resource indicated on the parent metadata (BDTRE - Reference Territorial Data Base of Entities).
