| lineage | For a small number of areas, the GBKN and the cadastral parcels from the LKI were used as reference backgrounds when digitizing the boundaries. In terms of location, the boundaries for these areas are identical to the boundaries on the official (paper) map appended to the designation decision and explanatory notes. See the Substrate field. The location of the boundaries in the provinces of Friesland and Limburg has been visually compared with those in the designation maps and improved where necessary. The topographical map on a scale of 1:10,000 (TOP10vector) was used for this. The improvements have increased the quality of the location of the boundaries, but do not remove the risk that the location of the boundaries may differ by up to about 20 meters from that on the official designation maps. This check was not carried out for the other provinces. The quality of the location of the boundaries is unclear for these provinces. Based on the experiences gained while working with the map layer and when checking the boundaries in Friesland and Limburg, the maximum deviation in the location of the boundary can be estimated at approximately 100 metres. The metadata services of the datasets harmonized in accordance with INSPIRE only refer to the overarching metadata record of the datasets and not to this underlying metadata record of the individual dataset. Removing the INSPIRE predicate for this metadata record prevents INSPIRE validation errors. |
