Wuppertal ATOM Feed Zugangswege zu Bahntrassenradwegen

The ATOM Feed download service for the access routes to the Wuppertal Bahntrassenradwege provides a data set for download that includes the (as of 12/2020) 46 access routes leading from some of the access points to the Bahntrassenradwege (Nordbahntrasse, Sambatrasse, Schwarzbachtrasse) in the Wuppertal city area to lead. The access points mark the places where the public road network has to be exited in order to get onto the railway line cycle paths. They are contained in the open data data set "Access points to railway line cycle paths in Wuppertal". Some of the access points are already directly on the railway line cycle paths, some there are still linear connecting paths that are included in the data set that can be downloaded here. As of 12/2020, the data set only contains access routes to the Nordbahn and Schwarzbach routes. Both datasets (access points, access routes) are to be understood as a supplement to the "Radrouten Wuppertal" dataset, in which the complete Wuppertal cycle paths, represented by the central axes of the associated roads and paths, are documented. The data set was completed for the first time in spring 2015 through digitization based on the digital base map DGK and has since been updated promptly when the access points change. Since the beginning of 2016, the official base map ABK has been used as the basis for digitization. The ESRI shapefiles, KML and GeoJSON files provided as open data under the CC BY 4.0 license, which the download service accesses, are updated weekly in an automated process.
