| lineage | The data represents the urban zoning of the Molise Region. The feature class does not report the zoning in reference to the Municipalities of Pizzone, Montaquila and Pescolanciano. The feature class contains the information relating to the Istat Code of the municipality, the subdivision into homogeneous areas governed by the technical standards of the specific plan of the aforementioned Municipality and the information relating to the homogeneous areas governed by a univocal subdivision for the entire Molise Region. For the data acquisition process, the ESRI ArcGis 9.3 software with service pack 1 was used. All the tools made available by ArcGis 9.3 for data creation were used. In the computerization of the data relating to the urban plans of the Molise Region, a single feature class was created with all the data, in order to correctly create and manage the entire data processing and creation flow. The acquisition process required the numerical transformation of the paper data relating to the information of all the Municipalities of the Molise Region, with the exception of the Municipalities listed below. The aforementioned Municipalities are: Montaquila, Pescolanciano and Pizzone. The Manufacturing Programs of the Municipalities of Pescolanciano and Montaquila, information on the current plans in raster format is not available at the Urban Planning - Territorial Management Service of the Molise Region. The Fabrication Program of the Municipality of Pizzone has only one draft sheet for which it was not possible to georeference as it has indicative and irrelevant characteristics for a correct location of the territorial information. The acquisition took place by scanning to scale of grays with resolution at 200 dpi using the Colortrac Smartlf Cx4 scanner and associated Smartlf software version 1.4.0.1. The raster files were georeferenced using ESRI ArcMap based on corresponding points of the CTR 1:5000 tablets, which were loaded into the I SAA within the homonymous raster catalog within the personal geodatabase Raster_Molise.mdb (original reference system). During the georeferencing phase, files with the extension (*.txt) containing the georeference points and log files containing, in addition to the latter, also information relating to errors and any annotations were also saved. The editing phase involved the initial creation of lines and subsequently the linear data obtained was transformed into polygonal data using the "Feature To Polygon" tool. The methodology just described allows to produce a topologically correct geometry, free of voids between areas, free of overlapping areas, lines or edges. The arc structure was then transformed into polygons using the "Feature to polygon" tool of ESRI ArcToolBox. The polygonal shapefile created with this methodology was subsequently imported into the PRG_PdF_Molise_WGS84.mdb geodatabase using the "Import Feature Class" function. Therefore the feature classes present in the geodatabase were built starting from a raster digitization process in format (*.tif): they were initially created with ESRI ArcCatalog and subsequently completed using the tools of the ESRI ArcMap Editor on the basis of the georeferenced raster. The structure of the feature classes was organized with ESRI ArcCatalog with the creation of appropriate fields containing the attributes of the features based on the information described in different legends for each Municipality. In addition, a unified legend field organized into a single domain for the entire geodatabase has been contemplated. The description of the homogeneous territorial zones took place following the D.M. 2 April 1986, n.1444 pursuant to and for the purposes of article 17 of the law 6 August 1967, n. 765.The data created were reprojected in geographic WGS84 using IGM Verto 2000 software, which uses the grid.They were loaded, maintaining the information structure created, through the basic functions of ArcGIS in the SIIT database, on RDBMS DB2. |
