Ecological connection zones, development of (history)

In the Provincial Environmental Plan Drenthe, POP-1 of 16 Dec. adopted by the Provincial Council. 1998, an ecological connection zone is indicated on map 3. This is a connection between nature areas (with new or restored nature). Ecological connecting zones are being created to enable the migration of animals and plants between nature areas.
