Soil overview map 1:200,000 (BÜK200) - CC3126 Hamburg-Ost

The soil overview map 1:200,000 (BÜK200) is prepared by the Federal Institute for Geosciences and Natural Resources (BGR) in cooperation with the State Geological Services (SGD) of the federal states in the sheet section of the topographic overview map 1:200,000 (TÜK200) and published in 55 individual map sheets. The digital, page-free data management forms a detailed, nationwide uniform and comprehensive information basis for state-wide statements on soil use and soil protection. The BGR website on the subject of soil provides information on the current processing status of the map series. The distribution and socialization of the soils in the area covered by this map sheet is described using 95 legend units (structured according to soil regions and large soil landscapes). Each legend unit contains soil systematic information (soil subtype) and information on the soil parent rock for both the guide soils and their companions. In the course of processing the BÜK200 neighboring sheet Hamburg-West, the LBG data record from Hamburg-East was partially changed on the western edge of the sheet (as of June 10, 2009). The LBG dataset from Hamburg-Ost was revised again based on new findings. The old LE 8 and 85 have been dropped, the LE 82 has been added (as of December 2nd, 2009). In the course of processing the BÜK200 neighboring sheet Wittenberge, the LBG dataset from Hamburg-Ost was partially changed on the eastern edge of the sheet (as of July 1, 2011).
