The data set contains the cycling facilities in the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg. Since this is a routable data set, not only classic cycling facilities (cycle paths, cycle lanes, protective lanes, etc.) are recorded, but also streets and paths that can be used by cyclists. Furthermore, footpaths are also recorded if they fill gaps in the cycling network as so-called push routes. The following attributes are provided: - Status (operation, temporary facility, ...) - Street name - Type (separate pedestrian/cycle path, shared Walking/cycle path, cycle lane, protective strip, street with mixed traffic up to 30 km/h, pedestrian zone…) - Class (cycle path, cycle lane, protective strip, cycle path, paths in green areas, street with mixed traffic, pushing route, other) - Time limit - Mandatory use - Direction of travel (in the geometric direction, in both directions) - Surface (bituminous ceiling, water-bound ceiling, artificial stone, natural stone, ...) - Width in m - Obstacle (passability given, bypass possible, ...) - Level (ground level, tunnel, ...) The visualization in the WMS and thus also in the geoportal is carried out using the class attribute. To increase clarity, the data is divided into seven different layers based on the classes. Paths that are closed for the long term, e.g. due to construction work, are not published in the data set. If you have any comments about the data set or would like to report corrections, please send them to radverkehrsnetz@gv.hamburg.de.
