This table contains data on the number of deaths among the population of the Netherlands per week. The data can be broken down by personal characteristics: age and gender and by Wlz use, sector of care package and form of care delivery. The week numbering used follows the standard NEN2772 (ISO 8601), where the week starts on Monday and the first week in the year is that week that has four or more days in that year. As a result, some days of the first week may fall in the previous calendar year, and/or some days of the last week may fall in the following calendar year. The weekly figures therefore do not add up to the annual figures also presented in this table. Data available from: 2015 Status of the figures: The figures for the years 2015 to 2021 are final. Because the method differs from the method used for the figures on CBS StatLine, there may be minor differences. These differences are caused by a different handling of subsequent data. This may also cause minor differences with previously published custom work. The figures for 2022 and 2023 are provisional in nature. These figures may change with each renewal of the publication because later obituaries are included and subsequent information about Wlz use is included. Because this method differs from the method used for mortality figures on CBS StatLine, there may be minor differences. Changes September 11, 2023: The provisional figures for week 34 of 2023 have been added. When will new figures be available? New figures are added to this table weekly. Once a week, provisional figures for the week before the current week number minus one are included in this publication.
