Winter service routes on cycle paths in the city of Münster

The winter service routes in Münster are available for download in machine-readable formats as Open Data on this page. This is part of the Open Data initiative of the Münster city administration. The data can be used, for example, for your own evaluations or visualizations. This data set contains the winter service routes on the cycle paths. There is another data set for the roads. The winter service is mainly carried out by the Münster waste management company (AWM). For this purpose, more than 20 clearing and gritting vehicles are used for almost 2000 kilometers of road. More than 20 other vehicles are used for the cycle paths. Further information on winter service can be found on the associated website AWM winter service website. The various file formats are processed and made available as open data by the Department of Geodata Management of the Surveying and Cadastre Office of the City of Münster.
