Green roof cadastre NRW

The NRW green roof cadastre provides information about the potential of retrofitting green roofs, provides owners with orientation and provides municipal actors with important basic data for climate adaptation strategies. The data are model results that serve as non-binding initial information and are not exact measurement data. The calculated values ​​can deviate from the actual conditions for methodological reasons and are to be understood as a guide. Roof greening can only be carried out after checking the local conditions, especially the statics. Skylights and the like cannot be detected. In principle, specialist companies should be commissioned to retrofit roof greening for larger partial roof areas. If necessary, the requirements of monument protection or local design statutes must be observed.
