Exhibition system

The data refer to the Lombardy trade fair system recognized and classified on the basis of the regional law of 10 December 2002, N. 30 - the regional law of 3 February 2010 n. 6 (Consolidated Law on Commerce) - to the Regional Regulation of 12 April 2003 n. 5 (amended by Regional Regulation 6 December 2008, n. 5). The approval of the exhibition calendar takes place through DGR by 31 July of each year.

lineage	The Lombardy Region recognizes the system of exhibition centers on its territory with three levels of relevance: - International; - National; - Regional. Requests for recognition or confirmation of International and National qualification applications by the organizers of trade fairs are communicated to the D.G. Commerce, Tourism and Services of the Lombardy Region by 31 January of the previous year. While requests or confirmations of Regional qualifications are forwarded by 30 April of the previous year. The fields associated with the shapefile of the Exhibition System are: OBJECTID_1: Identification Code (no longer in use). ID: Identification code of the Exhibition Center. ISTAT: ISTAT code of the municipality of location. MUNICIPALITY: Name of the municipality where the business is located. PROVINCE: Acronym of the Province of the Exhibition Centre. ADDRESS: Main address of the Exhibition Centre. EXHIBITION_TYPE: Type of recognition of the Exhibition Centre: International, National, Regional. M2_TOTALS: Total exhibition square meters. M2_PARCH: Square meters of parking. FAIR_NAME: Name of the Exhibition Centre. LINK: URL for connection to the page of the Fiere di Regione Lombardia website.
