Genoa - Cadastre 1414

The dataset represents the graphic restitution of the documentation relating to the so-called "possession gabella" on the basis of the restitution attempt made by professors E. Poleggi and L. Grossi-Bianchi of the University of Genoa in 1980. The possessionum gabella was the tax on land and on houses, based on a sort of cadastre which was renewed according to need and of which we have news for the years 1414, 1443 and 1454. The survey has no cadastral purpose. The elaboration took place within the Civis Observatory projects.
