Water- Framework Directive- Region division

This file shows the sub-basin classification (Gelderland regions) of the Water Framework Directive. The Water Framework Directive (WFD) is a European directive, which is intended to achieve and maintain the quality of ground and surface water in Europe at a good level. On 22 December 2000, the Water Framework Directive came into force.
