Virtual pass points Hamburg

The product virtual control points is a tool for the clear, stress-free transformation of georeferenced data from the outdated coordinate reference system (location status 100, Potsdam datum with Gauss-Krüger mapping) into the current coordinate reference system ETRS89_UTM32 (reference system ETRS89 with mapping rule UTM, EPSG code 25832, earlier name : Position status 310) or into the coordinate reference system CRS ETRS89_3GK3 (reference system ETRS89 with mapping rule Gauss-Krüger, EPSG code: 8395, earlier designation: Position status 320). These control points are arranged in a regular grid with a point spacing of 250m and are available as an ASCII file. The total number of control points is approximately 13,000. A transformation using the virtual control points is particularly suitable for cartographic purposes. It is unsuitable for precise geodetic applications.
