Traffic census for bicycle traffic: data from counting stations in the Münster Bahnhofsviertel

There are a number of bicycle counters in the city of Münster. The Office for Mobility and Civil Engineering provides the number of cyclists counted daily at the bicycle counting stations as well as the weather information recorded in each case in Excel files. This data set contains the detailed bicycle counting data of the last few years both by the day and by the hour for the station area. Due to the volume of data, the counting points are divided by district. Further data for other districts can be found in the corresponding data sets on this data portal. The data sets also contain local weather information for the respective point in time. These are not measured values ​​at the station. The weather data source is: World Weather Online provided by Eco Counter GmbH.
