Siren locations Wuppertal

The data set of the Wuppertal siren locations includes the location descriptions kept by the Wuppertal professional fire brigade of (as of 09/2021) 37 existing and 9 planned, punctiform modeled stationary sirens. In addition to the sirens, the performance, the type (manufacturer abbreviation) and the status (inactive, active or planned) are given. The stationary high-performance sirens form the backbone of the combined population warning system of the city of Wuppertal, which also includes 6 mobile sirens and other elements (radio and loudspeaker announcements, citizens' telephone, Internet messages). The data set is continued irregularly, always promptly after a real change regarding the sirens. The open data dataset, which is available in Shape, KML, GeoJSON and CSV format under an open data license (CC BY 4.0), is nevertheless automatically updated on a fixed, weekly basis.
