There are a few options when transitioning to more reusable food to go. In addition to the purchase of their own containers by restaurateurs and customers, providers of reusable pool systems are increasingly establishing themselves. These systems enable reusable food containers to be borrowed and returned at all partner locations. This data set shows catering establishments such as restaurants, cafés, snack bars, canteens as well as hot counters and salad bars in retail that provide and take back reusable packaging for delivered and to-go food. Six providers of pool systems with suitable reusable containers are available to Hamburg restaurateurs and customers: FairCup, REBOWL, reCIRCLE, Relevo, Tiffin Loop and Vytal. The data record shows the partner offices and locations of the respective provider. All reusable containers pay for themselves ecologically after just a few uses and are therefore much more sustainable than disposable packaging.
