Sedimentological Map of the Adriatic of the Emilia-Romagna Region - vector coverage - 1988 Edition

This paper was created starting from the Sedimentological Map of the Northern Adriatic and the Sedimentological Map of the Central Adriatic, produced by the National Research Center (CNR). The maps were produced and published as part of the finalized project of the CNR "Oceanography and Seabeds", they were compiled on the basis of published or unpublished data, collected by the Institutes of Geology and Paleontology of the Universities of Bologna and Trieste and by C.N.R. Institute of Marine Geology of Bologna prior to the year 1988.

lineage	The map was created by scanning the Sedimentological Maps of the Central and Northern Adriatic produced by the C.N.R. Subsequently they were georeferenced in the regional reference system (UTM* ED50) and digitized in vector format (polygons), subdividing and classifying the areas on the basis of the lithological/sedimentological legend reported on the original paper; finally the paper was adapted to the edges of the Catra Tecnica Reginale at a scale of 1:250,000.
