In the draft of the General Spatial Planning Regulations Decree, the national government is instructing the provinces to include rules for bundling new urban developments. These should initially take place in an existing urban area. If new land use is nevertheless necessary, this can only be done where there are justified expansion possibilities in view of the spatial qualities within the search areas for urbanization designated in the Space Regulation. Under certain conditions, urban development is also possible in areas with special landscape qualities, the so-called (search) areas integration city-country. In these areas, urban development can take place in conjunction with green landscape developments. By means of further rules or an exemption from the Provincial Executive, city-rural integration can be provided per area for the form in which such a cohesive area development can take shape. The search areas that were included in the detailed plans served as a starting point for the determination. These have been updated in response to interim developments and new administrative agreements. The objects in this file are set to a scale of 1:50,000.
