LIDAR 2004 survey of the coast and the Savio River - DTM (Digital Terrain Model)

The Lidar survey of the coast was carried out from Goro to Rimini, covering a corridor about 800 m wide (sometimes more extensive) for a total of 9524 hectares; towards the sea, the limit has been set so as to include all the defense structures at sea, considered an integral part of the coastal system. Along the Savio River, a band of variable width from the mouth to Cesena was surveyed, for a total extension of 7666 hectares. Through this survey we obtained: the digital surface model (DSM, Digital Surface Model) and the digital terrain model (DTM, Digital Elevation Model). LIDAR (Light Detection and Ranging), which is an active remote sensing technique for performing high resolution topographic surveys.

lineage	Nel Maggio 2004 è stata condotta una campagna GPS su 5 vertici noti (IGM 95 + RER), eseguita dell'Università di Bologna (Distart),sono state rilevate 12 aree di controllo + alcune aree test per la qualità, con sistema GPS-RTK, al fine di ricostruire le 12 baseline utilizzate in fase di post processing, infine è stata rilevata una parte dell'area nord (sacca di Goro) e l'area meridionale, in quest'ultima i rilievi sono stati sospesi a causa in della perdita del segnale GPS, la cui assenza blocca automaticamente tutto il rilievo Lidar. Dal 27.9.04 al 01.10.04; in questa seconda fase è stata rilevata tutta la fascia costiera, fino a Rimini, (a causa dei problemi del segnale GPS nella parte meridionale) e il Fiume Savio dalla foce fino a Cesena. l' ICC ha esegutio la fase di post processing dei dati, fornendo dunque come prodotto finale un Modello Digitale del Terreno.
