Restrictions on fishing activities - Restrictions on fishing activities with purse seines

The use of purse seines is prohibited within a distance of 300 meters from the coast or within the 50 m isobath when this depth is reached at a shorter distance from the coast. The "purse seines" are purse seines whose lower part is held together by a cable, connected to the lead file by means of rings, which allows the closure of the net. The purse seines can be used to capture small or large pelagic species or demersal species .
