Restrictions on fishing activities - Restrictions on dredger fishing activities

Areas where fishing activity using "dredgers" is restricted: gear actively towed by the main engine of the fishing vessel (boat-pulled dredger) or pulled by a motor-driven winch of an anchored vessel (mechanized dredger) for catching bivalve molluscs , gastropods or sponges. Dredges pulled by hand or by a hand winch in shallow water with or without a vessel for catching bivalve molluscs, gastropods or sponges (hand dredgers) are not considered towed gear.
