This map shows the planned course of the relocated Wilhelmsburg Reichsstrasse B4/75. The basis is the planning by DEGES for the planning approval decision for the relocation of the Bundesstrasse B 4/75 (Wilhelmsburg Reichsstrasse) between the HH-Georgswerder and HH-Wilhelmsburg-Süd junctions, along with adjustments of railway facilities. It is planned to bundle the federal road B4/75 between the junctions mentioned over a length of approx. 4.6 km with the railway facilities to the east. In addition to the planned four-lane new construction of the federal road with a standard width of 28 m and the conversion of the HH-Wilhelmsburg-Süd junction, the corresponding adjustments to the railway operating systems and the construction of extensive noise protection systems are planned. Furthermore, a connection point HH-Wilhelmsburg-Mitte with connection to the Rotenhäuser Straße is planned. City streets directly affected by the project, such as Kornweide, Vogelhüttendeich and Rotenhäuser Straße and its intersection with Dratelnstraße / Rubbertstraße, are also to be adapted. The areas on which the new trunk road is to be routed are currently still partially occupied by railway facilities. It is therefore planned to reorganize the track systems without losing capacity for route traffic. In particular, the westernmost track is to be moved further to the east. The project also includes avoidance, compensatory and replacement measures, including noise protection measures along the road and railway facilities, structural avoidance of harmful environmental effects, avoidance measures during the implementation of the construction measure, compensatory measures on other areas in Hamburg-Wilhelmsburg and Bergedorf for interventions in nature and Landscape. Active noise protection measures are planned on the road and tracks, in particular noise protection walls with a total length of approx. 15.1 km and a height of mostly 4 m or more.
