Raw material geological overview map of the Free State of Saxony 1:400,000 - Fossil fuels (RÜK400Bre)

The map contains the deposits of all fossil fuels (lignite, hard coal, moors) as well as the opencast lignite mines and underground hard coal mines that existed or were closed at the time the map was published. A simplified geological overview map is stored. On the back of the printed map version there are explanations on the genesis of the coal, the structure of the moor, the development of lignite mining after 1989, the characteristics of the hard coal mined, as well as the regional geological and stratigraphic distribution of the lignite and hard coal seams.
