Procurement data Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations 2017

Purchasing expenditure is the expenditure incurred by the central government on goods and services from suppliers. Once a year, the Minister of the Interior and Kingdom Relations receives information about the purchasing expenditure of the previous year from all ministries and departments falling under them. The ministry uses this information to provide government-wide procurement information to the central government category managers, who purchase and tender for the generic procurement categories. Since 2012, this purchasing information has also been used to inform the House of Representatives about purchasing by the government and about the share of small and medium-sized enterprises in this. This is done in the Central Government Annual Operational Report.
