PUMS - Territorial areas - Metropolitan City of Florence

The Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan (PUMS) is the strategic document that aims to guide the city's mobility policies for the next 10 years. PTCP, taken into consideration for the purpose of calculating the PUMS result indicators. 121 of 19 December 2018 and with Resolution of the Metropolitan Council n. 24 of 04/21/2021 definitively approved the Pums-Urban plan for sustainable mobility of the Metrocittà.

lineage	The preparation of the SUMP is based on a logic based on scenarios, aimed at verifying and comparing the effects of different possible strategies for managing mobility. The Reference Scenario reconstructs the interventions that can be implemented independently of the SUMP as they are already planned-programmed and already equipped with financial coverage. It is a synthesis that collects data and information from numerous heterogeneous sources. The Project Scenario, on the other hand, contains the infrastructural and non-infrastructural interventions, additional to the reference Scenario, which respond to the general and specific objectives that the PUMS has set itself. It is the result of the planning activity of the working group made up of the Metropolitan City of Florence, the Municipality of Florence, the Tuscany Region.
