lineage	The figure was created by the Department of Town Planning and Territorial Planning of the University of Florence as part of a research by Fabio Lucchesi on "The last threshold of periodization. The measures of building growth in the Province of Florence 1998 /2007". The theme is the mosaic of the built-up areas of the CTR 1:10k falling within the provincial perimeter of the province of Florence. The dataset was originally produced within the Knowledge Framework of the PTCP of the Province of Florence and associates each geometry with information regarding the first cartographic documentation of each site by periodization class. The original dataset was purged of the sites demolished in the time interval 1998-2007 and updated with information concerning the growth of built-up sites in the Province of Florence pertaining to the period 1998 (reference date for the elaboration of the Tuscany Regional Technical Map), to 2007 (reference date for the two sources used, i.e. the geometries derived from the register of buildings updated to 2007 and the frames of the orthophoto AGEA 2007).
