The new proposal for the delimitation of the pSIC for the protection of bottlenose dolphins in the Ligurian Sea, approved with Resolution of the Regional Council n.414 of 05/05/2023, is part of the actions envisaged by the Presidential Decree 357/97 transposing directive 92/43/EEC on the conservation of natural and semi-natural habitats as well as wild flora and fauna. The cartography was prepared on the basis of the results of a study conducted by ARPAL for the protection of the Tursiops truncatus species. The perimeter of the marine pSIC will become effective when the proposed areas will be sent by the Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security to the European Commission. - Entire regional coverage - sc. 1:5000 - Year 2023 - Projection system - Gauss Boaga - West Zone
