Project data CLEVER Cities Hamburg

The map shows the CLEVER Cities project area from the EU funding program Horizon 2020 in Hamburg, Neugraben-Fischbek. The project area extends from the center of Neugraben through the Vogelkamp development area (planned development area), the Fischbek-Falkenberg district school, the old village center of Fischbek and the Sandbek settlement to the Fischbeker-Reethen development area in the west on the state border with Lower Saxony. Clever Cities Projects: Various CLEVER projects are located within the project area, which represent nature-based, co-creative solutions to urban challenges such as heavy rain events, citizen satisfaction or increasing biodiversity. The two protected areas, which are of great importance for the protection of nature and species throughout the city, are separated from one another by the sometimes dense development of Neugraben-Fischbek. Clever Cities aims to create linear, nature-based connections (green connections) between the two protected areas. The various Clever projects are to be linked by a green corridor that runs through the settlement strip. Clever Cities Planning Area: In the Clever project area, other plans such as RISE development areas for sustainable district development (planning area inventory structure) or large-scale newly created building areas (planned development areas) are included.
