Operational areas of wildlife management units, status 12/03/2021

Overview of the operating areas of the game management units recognized by the Flemish Government as referred to in Art 12 of the Hunting Decree. A game management unit is a partnership between hunting rights holders recognized by the Flemish Government within a spatially delimited area (the so-called WBE operating area). The operating area of A game management unit includes various hunting grounds where planned game management is carried out, aimed at maintaining and/or developing an ecologically responsible game stock as part of a broader fauna management. The location and surface area of ​​the operating areas are important conditions for being (and remaining) recognized as a wildlife management unit by the Flemish government.
