Offshore Sand Information System (In_Sand) - Reservoir Thickness A (2012)

It represents the thickness of the sandy deposit called A obtained on the basis of the interpretation of the CHIRP Sonar seismic profiles. The extraction of the depth of the roof and the sand base from the profiles was done using the software SeisPrho (Gasperini & Stanghellini, 2009), digitizing the base of the deposit interpreted by the seismic facies and by the confirmation of the vibrocores. The thicknesses of the deposit were also updated considering the volumes of sand dredged during the nourishment intervention of 2007 (Project 2).

lineage The roof and the base of the sands was extracted from the seismic profiles of the geophysical/geognostic campaigns AR00 (2000) and NAD12 (2012), from which the thicknesses of the reservoir were calculated, the update was carried out by subtracting the volumes from these thicknesses of sand extracted using the multibeam survey created after the sampling carried out in 2007 (Progettone 2).
