| lineage | The polygons of the RESERVOIRS which represent a first approximate limit of the sandy deposits within each area, have been drawn on the basis of the interpretation (and calibration with coring) of the seismic profiles. The accuracy of the information is a function of several factors: the resolution of the instrumentation used for the surveys and for the positioning of the vehicles; the density of the information collected; of the accuracy linked to the data processing software and, lastly, of the sensitivity in the interpretation of the data by the expert. It should be noted that, over the years, the instrumentation for the collection of bathymetric and geophysical data has improved and so has the level of precision of the information contained in the geodatabase. |
