Noise load road traffic Lnight 2022

The map shows the noise levels caused by road traffic on provincial roads. The night-time noise exposure is expressed in Lnight, the measure for the average noise exposure from 11 pm to 7 am (per year). Nighttime noise in our living environment mainly leads to sleep disturbance. The map was created in the context of the EU Environmental Noise Directive. The noise contours reflect the situation for the reference year 2021, whereby it should be noted that due to the Corona pandemic in 2020 and 2021 (and therefore less traffic), the traffic figures from 2019 have been used.
