Noise impact at major airports (Schiphol), Lden and Lnight, 2021 (INSPIRE)

Noise load map 2021 for important Dutch airports (Schiphol). The map shows the noise exposure during the night (Lnight) and 24 hours (Lden). This noise load map fulfills the requirements of the Aviation Act that arise from the European Environmental Noise Directive. This map does not replace the noise load map for the public. This is made available by the administrative body itself.

The Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management has calculated the noise load map using the CNOSSOS-EU method. This European standardized 'common calculation method' has been included in Dutch legislation, which refers directly to Annex II of the European Environmental Noise Directive. The data conforms to the data model established by the European Environment Agency (EEA)
