This map layer is part of the Boundary map file. This map was adopted by the Provincial Executive of North Holland on 3 October 2017, document/number 934521/982203 as part of the Nature Management Plan 2018. The Boundary Map consists of 'NNN development task', 'NNN existing nature', 'Natuurnetwerk Nederland (NNN) search area', 'NNN major waters', 'Natura 2000' and the 'Nature connections'. The aim of the Netherlands Nature Network (NNN) is to form a coherent network of nature areas in order to protect biodiversity. The 'Nature connections' and 'Natuurnetwerk Nederland (NNN)' are included in separate map layers. The Boundaries Map forms the basis for the Management Types Map Potential Use: Display of provincial policy; applications for subsidies for nature management; to be used for maps and viewers; the planning protection and frameworks for nature compensation are laid down in the Structural Vision, this map cannot be used for that.
