Surface water quality monitoring

The archive contains the data resulting from the monitoring carried out by Arpat on significant surface water bodies for the purposes of verifying the environmental quality objectives. Some geographical reference files (monitoring points, significant bodies of water, catchment areas) are correlated to the database of analytical results.

lineage	The monitoring data are acquired by Arpat as part of its institutional activity. The location of the withdrawal points was obtained through GPS surveys and recognition on a regional technical map 1:10,000. The geographic data (linear and polygonal) necessary for the identification and characterization of the monitored water bodies and the related hydrographic basins are derived from the thematic database relating to hydrography produced by the Tuscany Region (Information System Sector for the territory and the environment).
