Mussel beds in the Lower Saxony Wadden Sea 2003. Within the framework of the mussel management plan, annual mapping of the eulittoral mussel beds in the Lower Saxony Wadden Sea was carried out. The recording was carried out by means of stereoscopic evaluation of aerial photographs. The aerial surveys took place across the board in spring and summer. Blue mussel beds in the Wadden Sea of ​​Lower Saxony 2003. The intertidal blue mussel beds were determined annually in the scope of the blue mussel management plan. Aerial surveys were carried out and aerial photographs were analyzed by using a stereoscope to detect the mussel beds.
