Marine-coastal areas of biological-environmental protection - Coastal nursery area

By nursery area we mean an area where juvenile forms of various species of marine organisms grow in their first year of life; current Italian legislation provides that areas within 3 nautical miles from the coast (and within 4 miles from the start of the shutdown period until October) are classified as nurseries.
