Maps of the German Empire 1 : 25,000, Messtischblätter 4149 Lübbenau

From 1875, the year the Prussian state survey was founded, surveying in the style of the 1 : 25,000 measuring table sheets began and was essentially completed by 1912. The retakes of the sheets, which were made before 1875, were completed in 1931. With the contour line display and reference to sea level, they led to an independent map series that was primarily intended to satisfy the increasing civilian need. In 1931, the sheets of this work almost exclusively formed the largest-scale topographic map series for the area of ​​responsibility of the then Reich Office for State Recording and thus the basis for the subsequent scales. The measuring table sheets are available flat and are mostly supplied as a one-color print, more rarely as a multi-color print.
