Updating of the map relating to real land use, divided into legend classes (Corine Land Cover), for the polygons of the areas represented, it also contains linear thematic layers of traffic and hydrography. The legend, organized hierarchically according to the detailed classification of the five CORINE Land Cover categories up to 5 levels, has undergone some changes compared to the previous 2003 version. For the realization of the land use update of the Autonomous Region of Sardinia, through photointerpretation, the following were used: AGEA 2003 orthophotos, 2004 orthophotos, Ikonos 2005-06 images, Landsat 2003 images, Aster 2004 images, as well as CTRN10k auxiliary materials , DBPrior 10k and others, with inspections of 4000 points distributed throughout the territory. The reference scale is 1:25,000, the minimum mapped unit is 0.5 hectares within the urban area and 0.75 hectares in the extra-urban area. The map is accompanied by documentation consisting of: a legend (doc and xls format), interpretation keys (pdf) and a database (mbd) containing information contained in the files relating to the work phases and field surveys.
