This document is a map (geotiff) which represents the preliminary level classification of the susceptibility of a given coastal stretch to the presence of presumably active elements of fluid leakage within 500m of depth. This classification provides a general indication and was carried out on the basis of the presence/absence of dangerous elements already present in the 72 Sheets produced by the MaGIC project, possibly supplemented by bibliographic information or other data, if in possession of the individual groups of research involved. lineage The preliminary level classification is based on the analysis of the MaGIC cartographer and only on the definition of the presence/absence of cartographic features associated with phenomena that occurred in the past, thus representing only a rough indication of the susceptibility of a given coastal stretch. the identification of morphological elements referable to events that have already occurred and the attribution to them of a classification parameter, only signals the general predisposition of the area to the occurrence of future events with similar characteristics, without any reference to their spatial and temporal frequency . Such an in-depth analysis, indispensable for a real hazard analysis, would require a detailed analysis of the available data and above all the realization of site-specific studies. In order to carry out the preliminary level classification, the coastline falling within the 72 sheets Magic has been divided into stretches of about 10 km in length, uniquely and sequentially numbered. Each trait has been assigned a level of susceptibility with respect to the different types of "geo-risk". This value will be obtained through the spatial analysis of all the morpho-bathymetric elements already mapped in the Magic project sheets, measurements from nautical charts falling in the marine sector in front of that given coastal sector and will be defined as follows:- 0 (not definable, in when basic data are lacking, such as high resolution bathymetry, nautical charts, orthophotos, etc. to estimate susceptibility). As an example, we can cite the case of a canyon, whose head has not been completely mapped within the MaGIC project and cannot be resolved with the help of other data (orthophotos, nautical charts), thus making it impossible to establish its minimum distance from the coast; - 1 (absent or insignificant elements); - 2 (elements present and of average significance); - 3 (elements present and very significant).
