City-owned agricultural land

This dataset contains the agricultural land owned by the City of Cologne. The data set was created by overlapping two data excerpts from ALKIS (Official Real Estate Cadastre Information System). One excerpt contained all parcels owned by the City of Cologne, the other all objects of the type "AX_Agriculture" (data as of January 17, 2023). In ALKIS, AX_Agriculture (ID 43001) is a feature type of the feature type group 'Vegetation' (ID 43000), which is assigned to the feature type area 'Actual Use'. After intersecting the geometries, adjacent areas with identical vegetation features were each combined into one object. In addition, the area of ​​the individual objects created in this way was determined and added to the geometries as an attribute. The vegetation features according to the ALKIS data excerpt (see above) are listed in the two attribute columns "value" and "identifier". "Value" is a four-digit value assigned to each of the categories (vegetation characteristics) specified in the "Identifier" column.
